A Peek Into The Future Essay

908 words - 4 pages

I woke up this morning and walked to my calendar. There it was, November 12th, my birthday. I walked downstairs, ate breakfast, and began to prepare for my party. I helped my parents with cooking the food and decorating the house with balloons, streamers, and banners. Then the doorbell rang. I opened the door to see Aiden, Katrina, Nikolai, Krystal, and Dixon. “Happy Birthday!” they shouted in unison. I invited them inside and we hung out in the living room with the karaoke machine. “Haha, apparently I’m an artist and an actress. I’ve recorded four albums! Look!” I say, handing him the magazine.
He takes the magazine and reads through it. “Mhmm. Okay, you just finished touring for your latest album a few weeks ago...You’re currently working on a movie. Uh-huh. Oh, and...whoa.”
Worried, I snatch the magazine from his hands to see what he read. “What? What is it? I don’t see anything.”
“Flip the page...” he says.
“Whoa, you proposed?”

“Well,” he begins, “don’t just look at me! This means you were dating me too!”
Then everything turns black again and we’re back in my room. “What just happened?” I ask.
“Well what were you thinking when you...
