According to Karen Pazol et al. There are reports and surveys taken for about everything. The CDC does surveys at places where legal abortions that take place. In 2009 there were 784,507 babies aborted. There were 772,600 babies were aborted from the same 45 locations. The surveys that were taken were from women age 15-45 years of age. Every fifteen out of a thousand women had an abortion. The ratios of the babies are that every twenty-two babies out of a thousand were aborted. People should not have to have children if they do not want one; although, they should not go to abortion as an answer. Instead people should look more into adoption People do not always think about the child in the womb as a child. Children start to develop in the womb very early. Child birth reported throughout the bible and talked about how precious children are.
According to Politically Correct Death by Beckwith children develop early in the womb. When it is in the first month the child is a zygote and it is alive (Beckwith 41-42). In the second month is when everything starts to develop. The nose, eyes, fingers, and skeleton start to develop. Later in the second month the central nervous system develops (Beckwith 44). The third month the child starts to squint, smile, and swallow. The forth month is all about the growing of the baby (Beckwith 45). In the fourth month is when there is when the baby grows in about six times the six of the baby weight (Beckwith 45). In the fifth month is when the first month where the baby could be taken out and grow outside of the womb (Beckwith 45). Children are alive from the beginning. The bible talks about children and the connections that they have with god and people.
As stated above by Beckwith there are also biblical meanings to child birth. In the bible it expresses the importance of child birth. It tells of how the children are all already know by god. That their whole life is mapped out before they are born. "You knit me in my mother’s womb . . . nor was my frame unknown to you when I was made in secret" (Psalm 139:13, 15)” (Priests for life by Frank Pravone). It talks about how god knows each one of them individually from the very beginning. It talks about how child birth is good (Beckwith 138). "Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward" (Psalm 127:3) (priests for life by Pravone). If the child is alive in the womb and you put something in it to kill it is murder (Beckwith 139)? "They mingled with the nations and learned their works…They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, desecrating the land with bloodshed" (Psalm 106:35, 37-38) (Priests for life by Frank Pravone). If you cannot kill a person with a gun why...
