Abortion in the United States is one of the most controversial subjects. The two main arguments are Pro Life and Pro Choice. I have been raised Catholic my whole life and my religion tells me to be Pro Life. As I have grown and become my own person I now believe in Pro Choice. One of the reasons I have come to this conclusion is because of the circumstances these pregnant mothers have been put in. A lot of people believe that if a teenager girl were to get wrapped up in the moment and become pregnant, they should have to deal with it. But what if that was your daughter. What about incest and rape? That isn’t a child you planned for, that you now must raise or take the responsibility of finding it care. When it comes down to it, you can’t just cancel out abortion as your decision.There have been many reports of health risk factors including increase in likelihood for breast cancer and ovarian cancer. But I could not find any medical information to back it up. It is said the most common symptoms after an abortion are irregular bleeding and spotting, and cramping for the first two weeks, along with some emotional reactions.There are 4 different types of abortion methods used depending on the development time of the fetus. Knowing the exact process is disturbing but it’s something the mother did decide to do. The actual process is brutal and grotesque, as well as painful to the mother. They involve things such as sucking the baby out and ripping it into piece, cutting the baby up into pieces, snapping the spine of the baby, and other cruel means of destroying it.
