The position I have chosen to be in, 5 years from now is that of a human resource manager in the company Adidas group. The advertisement for this job came through a website of seek recruitment agents based in Australia. “An opportunity exists to join adidas Australia as a HR Manager. Reporting to the Pacific HR Director, this is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to business partner the Australian Retail and Wholesale divisions, as well as manages a range of group-wide HR processes and a small team”(Seek ,2011).This job offers good remuneration package and benefits which are negotiable in nature. The position is published due to the internal promotion strategy and provides the best opportunity for a person to grow in the field of Human resources.
The primal nature of this job is to implement develop and suggest human resources strategies and plan to utilize the available human capital in the best possible way to get maximum business outcome. The job requirement to occupy this position is that, the individual should be efficient in communicative skills at all levels and also should have high standards of leadership and management skills. Moreover, the candidate should hold a degree in human resources management or in any other discipline to be eligible to undertake this challenging position. The candidate should be an expert in consulting, providing business solutions and other major issues related with human resources department. He should have proven record in management of internal stake holder ship and should aim primarily at customer satisfaction factor.
