Wouldn't it be good to know what works and what doesn't when it comes to dealing with the effects of alcohol? Based on my survey of this class, 95% of you, like me, do drink, so I thought you might be interested in some of the truth about the unpleasant and even dangerous effects of alcohol, and how to prevent them.1. I looked up hangover in the dictionary and I quote, "Unpleasant effects resulting from excessive alcohol consumption." I would describe it as your mom waking you up early after a long night of drinking and telling you to do something that you didn't care to do the night before. Because you still fell ill you black out and knock you head on the floor.Hangovers are most often due to over indulgence. Alcohol is considered a drug. Experiencing a Hangover is a mild and temporary version of what a drug addict might suffer when they experience a withdrawal. Hangovers are nature's way of warning us that we are harming our bodies.Our bodies warn us to stop or at least slow down drinking by making us fell ill.The most common symptoms to this are: headache, fatigue, nausea, dehydration, body pains, vomiting, dizziness, and loss of appetite.2.
