Alexander the Great has us all confused with him as great but he is not great, he should be known as Alexander the Devious. Alexander should be known as a villain not a hero.
Alexander the great is very forceful. If people didn’t do what Alexander wanted them to do then it would end very badly. He was forceful in a bad way. He forced people to do things that they didn’t want to do. Alexander the Great forced people to give him their town. If the town did not oblige to this then their would be very bad consequences, Alexander would destroy your town and kill most of you people. Whoever he didn’t kill became slaves. “The towns and cities that resisted him would be burned to the ground, and their people sold into slavery” (Learn TCI, Alexander Creates An Empire). This obviously shows that Alexander wanted everyone to follow him. If they didn’t they would get burned down and he would make them all slaves. This means that Alexander was a villain.
Alexander was very arrogant. His actions showed that he felt that he was better than everyone. He made people do things that he wanted him to do. He also destroyed cities if they didn’t do what he wanted them to do. Any time that someone would see him. Alexander the great made them bow down to him. The person had to bow down, so far that their heads touched the ground. This shows that Alexander felt that he should be treated better than other people. “ A visitor had to kneel in front of the throne and bend over until his head touched the ground” (Learn TCI, How Alexander Adopted the Ways of Conquered Cultures) This obviously shows that Alexander wanted everyone to treat him as if he was something special. He wanted everyone to bow down to him and be loyal to him.
Alexander is very devious. He did a lot of devious things. He had to forcefully make almost all of the known world trust him and see him as a ruler. This called for very devious things. Alexander used religion a lot. This is a very devious thing. Alexander wanted everyone to think of him as a god so people would do what Alexander wanted them to. “Later on, he also required all Greeks to accept him as the son of Zeus” (Learn TCI, How Alexander Used Religion). He got a lot of his empire to believe he was a god. This is very devious because they had to do whatever their god said to do. Since most gods are not on Earth and Alexander was...
