Quarter Writing Evaluation
This first quarter has not been easy. I have added an additional level four to my schedule and on top of that trying to mange other things outside of school, such as dance, homework, and family time. Espically since for me English doesn't come easy. In grade school it was my weakness and it was challenging to me. So in eighth grade when my english teacher said I could try to get into level four english, and I got in, I was extremely surprised. Being able to watch myself grow specifically in English is a great thing. Now even knowing I have already been growing in this past quarter I am even more excited to spend the rest of the year with you.
This past quarter I had the most issues with exams a tests. My first test I failed even when I worked exteremely hard on taking notes while I was reading and studying alot before the test. Also my first couple essays were not that good. I had many simple mistakes on each of them and hopefully I can make sure I don't make those mistakes next time. Now I sucessfully know how to cite my sources on the citation page and within the essay and hopefully that will help me in the future for up in coming essays.
I have already seen inprovement in the way I write and that it has gotten a little bit more mature. I have found easier ways to study that have helped me to better on tests. I have also found that I can complete a test and five paragraph essay in a class period. Which last year I would have never believed that I could. I just want to keep
improving and moving on from here. I want to use this year as a learning tool to help me
Provencher 2

even more challenging courses to come.
Next quarter I need to work on taking even more detailed notes then I did last quarter. I need to study even...
