Apollo Hoax Essay

636 words - 3 pages

Are we being told the truth about the NASA’s of the landing of Apollo 11? The following evidence against the moon landing will astound and convince even the most hardened sceptic that the whole Apollo Lunar Exploration project of the late 1960s and early 1970s were all a complete hoax. This report will justify how and why NASA fabricated of one of the most important steps in mankind.Bill Kaysing was a librarian/writer of technical publications and advanced research at Rocketdyne Systems from 1956 to 1963. He states that it was estimated in 1959 that there was a .0014 chance of landing man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth. This took into account the effects of radiation, solar flares and micro meteorites. He could not believe in 1959 that man could go to the Moon. Bill Kaysing also suggests that furthest possible man ...view middle of the document...

No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind or more important for the long range exploration of Space.' It was just eight years after his speech that in 1969, man allegedly left Earth and set foot on the Moon. Why would NASA and the United States bother to fake such an important event in the history of humanity? Was it America’s craving for Cold War (Space Race) Prestige? Monetary gain? Distraction? Or was President Kennedy's speech in May 1961 pressure enough to create the hoax? I believe all of these were reasons why the government of the United States falsified multiple moon landings. The US government deemed it vital that the US win the Space Race against the Soviet Union. Individuals also claim that the U.S government benefited from a popular distraction from the Vietnam War; and so lunar activities suddenly stopped, with planned missions cancelled, around the same time that the U.S ceased its involvement in the Vietnam War. NASA raised approximately US$30 billion in order to go to the Moon as well, and Kaysing claims that this amount could have been used to pay off a large number of people, providing significant motivation for complicity. Is it a pure coincidence that all supposed landings on the moon happened in just the one government of Richard Nixon? All six lunar landings occurred during the first presidential administration of Richard Nixon and no other national leader of any country has even claimed to have landed astronauts on the Moon, even though the mechanical means of doing so should have become progressively much easier after almost 40 years of rapid technological development.I do not believe man landed on the moon. Heaps of evidence suggests that the film footage was made up at a studio.Bibliography: “The Apollo Hoax”, [2001] “The Great Moon Hoax”, [2001], “Was the Apollo moon landing fake?”, [2010],
