Ser esa gotaEl propósito de este ensayo es argumentar sobre los deberes éticos que el profesionista tiene por su participación activa y pasiva en la sociedad, promoviendo el respeto a la comunidad y a vivir íntegramente. Los valores son lo que permite que todo a nuestro alrededor se lleve a cabo de manera íntegra y ética, tomando en cuenta que la ética debe ser, más que una preocupación, una forma de vida que puede ayudar a encontrar el balance en la vida. Como profesionistas y como futuros líderes, se debe cumplir esta manera de vivir y de manejar lo que controla la sociedad de la que forma parte, que se preocupe más por el otro que por uno mismo, que vea no solo el bien propio sino el bien común, y que logre entender que todo lo que realiza, afecta a los demás en diferentes aspectos. Las dos variables son el deber que posee una persona como profesionista y como parte de la sociedad, de brindar un servicio influyente y positivo para ser responsable socialmente, y las diferentes profesiones argumentando con sus puntos en contra y a favor en la responsabilidad social por los bienes internos y externos.La vida es valiosa y cualquier persona sabe que se debe tratar como tal. Pero si la vida es tan importante, entonces los valores lo son más porque guían a principios y normas, a estándares de conducta que son vistos y considerados como deseables, importantes y reconocidos por cualquier sociedad en que una persona vive. Los valores son un reflejo del carácter, de la educación recibida en el hogar o en la escuela, y la manera de hacer destacar el código para llevar una vida civil y una sociedad justa. Algunos valores importantes para armonizar el trabajo con la moral son la honestidad, la responsabilidad, el respeto, la libertad, etc. Sin éstos, el profesionista se encamina a un ambiente laboral antiético con grandes posibilidades de fracaso, no solo en aspecto económico sino social, no solo como profesionista sino al entorno empresarial.La responsabilidad y la honestidad son factores primordiales para ejercer una práctica profesional, y el profesionista tiene la obligación de conocer el por qué lo son y de intentar ejercer tomándolos en cuenta para afectar de manera positiva a la sociedad. A esta manera de afectar positivamente a la sociedad se le conoce como responsabilidad social. La responsabilidad social es una ética o teoría de que una entidad, ya sea un individuo o alguna organización, tiene el compromiso de actuar en beneficio a la sociedad. Toda entidad debe desempeñar su labor, con el fin de mantener el balance entre la economía y su alrededor.
