Countries all over the world have some kind of human trafficking. Human trafficking comes in many variations and is a serious crime. There is prostitution, sexual exploitation, forced labor, forms of slavery and evening the selling body parts (Human Trafficking, UNOCD). This is a critical destruction to human’s rights. People are vulnerable to being force into this crime. How do you commit the act of trafficking? You could recruit, transport, harbor, abduction, pressure or fraud someone into doing something that they are not willing to do of their own choice (Human Trafficking, UNODC). Your moral code is going to be the morals that you saw as you grew up, and if you only know crime then your morals will likely be of those you learned. People seem to conform to what they considered wrong, so if their parents run a business with paying little money to immigrants, then to them this is the norm. Even if they know it is wrong they will still have the tendency to go with the norm of their social upbringing. Needing to fit in is a big part of humanity and society. Here is an example of how your morals are developed. If your mother raised you by being a prostitute after being human trafficked and you saw her beat often for trying to get out, then your views will differ from the majority of society. You may want punishment for the one who beat her but not your mother. Society will say your mother is horrible and worthless, but they seem to overlook that she is being forced and threatened every day to continue. Society beliefs are if you want out then you find a way out. You as the child believes different because you live in that atmosphere, so your opinions will differ about your mom. Also, you may even live in this way as an adult because that is how you grew up. Society may look down on you and your mom but that likely will not change your ways, because your morals are different. What might have a bigger impact on your standards is if you want a better life for yourself or you find someone important in your life that will help you.
