Izejot praksi viena IT uzņēmumā, pamanīju ka preces, kas tiek viņiem piegādātas, netiek ievadītas sistēmā ar roku, bet nolasītas un ievadītas ar svītrkoda palīdzību un speciālu ierīci, kas tās nolasa. Gribēju noskaidrot, kā šī visa darbība notiek un kas tie svītrkodi tādi īsti ir. Izrādas, tiem ir vairāki veidi. Vai esi uz ielas vai kaut kur citur ir redzējis melnbaltu kvadrātisku zīmējumu? Šis zīmējums pasaulē joprojām ir jaunums, tādēļ tas paliek ar vien populārāks, kā rezultātā cilvēkiem rodas lielāka interese, kas tas īsti ir. Tas ir viens no svītrkodu veidiem – QR kods. Un šādu veidu ir daudz. Tie tiek iedalīti gan viendimensiju, gan divdimensiju svītrkodos. Mani šī tēma ļoti ieinteresēja, tapēc izdomāju veidot bakalaura darbu par šo tēmu.
Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot , kas ir svītrkodi, to veidi, vēsturi, darbību, popularitāti, iespējām, kā šie kodi tiek izmantoti sistēmās, kā varētu uzlabot to veiktspēju, nākotnes tendences.
Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, bija nepieciešams izpildīt šādus uzdevumus:

• Izpētīt literatūras avotus;
• Savākt datus par svītrkodiem;
• Izanalizēt savāktos datus;
• Apkopot datus par doto tēmu.

Informācija par doto tēmu tika meklēta gan interneta vietnē, gan tika izmantotas grāmatas.


Kas ir svītrkods?

Pēc Wikipedia dotās informācijas, Svītrkods ir - informācijas attēlojums uz virsmas (attēla veidā) aparātlasāmā formātā. Svītrkodu var nolasīt ar optisko skeneri (svītrkodu nolasītāju). [1]

Svītrkods tiek izmantots priekšmetu (objektu) identifikācijai uzskaitei datorsistēmās, kā piemēram, tas ir noliktavās preču uzskaitei, bibliotēkās grāmatu, tirdzniecībā u.c.
Svītrkodi kļuva populāri tieši šo iemeslu dēļ, ka varēja krietni vienkāršāk (kā arī automātiski) reģistrēt preces uzskaites sistēmās un pārvaldīt tās.
