Talented people develop new products that increase corporation's bottom line and have the courage to implement the necessary changes. Profitable ideas will never leave the strategic phase if management does not aggressively implement change. InterClean is being faced with the challenge of changing the direction of the company by attempting to expand business domestically and worldwide. InterClean's new business strategy is closely related to Human Resource Management (HRM). Human resource management is the strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organization's most valued assets-the people working within the organization who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the objectives (Armstrong, 2006). HRM encompasses several processes that can either be performed by Human Resource representatives or by line level supervisors/managers. The Human Resource department at Interclean has been presented with several tasks which will require the implementation of strategic solutions. This paper will examine benchmarking solutions that Interclean could closely examine in efforts to implementing a new business strategy. The topics discussed will include alignment of organizational structure, training and development, job dissatisfaction, goal setting.
