As a provider of renewable energy, many environmental factors must be taken into consideration prior to committing to the industry itself. Better Power is entering the energy industry as a provider of Renewable (green) power to Australian households and businesses. Renewable energy is energy which can be obtained and used from Natural Resources that can be constantly replenished such as bioenergy, geothermal energy, hydropower, ocean energy, solar energy and wind energy. Subsequently the energy industry will be analysed and discuss key General and Specific environmental factors in relation to Better Power and its probable success in the energy industry.

Australia’s legal system is very strong and stable with minable corruption. Australia is ranked 9th among 177 countries by transparency international which indicates the perception of a clean government.

As the world focus shifts towards a cleaner and greener environment to reduce the impact of global warming and our carbon footprint of greenhouse gas emissions. Efforts are taken into ground breaking technology and its current impacts on the environment. Sources of traditional energy such as oil, gas, coal, etc. are very limited in supply and have adverse impacts to the environment supporting the move towards the renewable energy sector with the use of bioenergy, geothermal energy, hydropower, ocean energy, solar energy and wind energy. The Renewable Energy target as per the Australian Federal Government aims for 20 per cent of power to be drawn from renewable energy sources such as like wind and solar by 2020. Energy consumption by households are increasing as trends suggest from 1988 to 2007 residential energy consumption grew 49% an average of 2.6% per annum due to appliances and it equipment per household is a main contributor to growth.

Due to Governmental influence and community awareness of environmental issues, has led to an increased use of energy saving measures in the home. Government measures have been taken and households and business have had energy saving lighting installed, star ratings of energy consumption advertised on white ware. There have been a range of government grants and rebates available to households to encourage the use of solar energy. Awareness in renewable energy has increased in households from 19% in...

The primary weakness of redundancy is imbalanced operating stress that aids to a greater power converter failure rates.Virtually all-inventive power supply designs provide forced load sharing. Load sharing allows for equal sharing of the systems load current between multiple output-paralleled power converters. The outcome is decreased operating temperatures, lower failure rates, and better response time (O'Boyle, 2005). The actual circuitry
