Bio Sketch Essay

907 words - 4 pages

I would start this paper off with a joke, but for once I would love to take something seriously. The day the world got brighter, was on December 8, 1999, the day I was born. Doctors thought I was going to be born deaf; I am extremely blessed to have the gift of hearing. The woman who brought me into the world is my mother, Selina Senegal, nobody on this Earth can replace my awesome mother. I live with 3 other siblings, Ahmari Metoyer, Ahmya Metoyer, and Braedon Metoyer. I am really one of the nicest, funniest people you would meet on Carencro Catholic School’s campus. Now that we have my family out of the way, we can talk more about me!
I do not have numerous hobbies and interests. Back when I did a biographical sketch in 5th grade, before I started loving basketball, I was really into video games. I loved video games like a fat kid loves cake. Yes, that was a weird simile. Now that I have gotten older, I realized that there is more out in the world than just playing video games. Some interesting and exciting hobbies I have playing sports, and listening to music. One big chunk of my life now is music, I love music. People assume I am into rap big time because I rapped a few times at a school dance. I’m no rapper. On the other hand, I am a massive basketball fan. I am not as marvelous as the others on my team, but I know the game as well as the superb players. When it comes to talking the NBA, no one can really debate with me. Even though I do not have a long list of hobbies, I still enjoy participating in all of the hobbies I listed.
When it comes to what I want to do when I grow up, I am not 100% sure yet. I would love to play in the NBA when I get older, but I doubt that it is a legitimate career choice. Only 1% of people at least make it to the pros. I would be lucky to even play high-school basketball. However, if I do not even make it to the pros, my secondary career choice has something to do with music. It will have nothing to do with singing, or rapping. I am not embarrassing myself again after what I did in the talent show in 4th grade. I would also consider sports journalism, but I do not know a single thing about journalism. People tell me that I can be a comedian. I doubt I would even consider being a comedian. Finally, as you can see, I am still undecided of what I want to do for my future.
