BiologirapportPuls- og blodtryksmålingerHani A.A. d. 8/10-02FormålJeg vil i denne rapport forklare noget om puls- og blodtryksmålinger på baggrund af nogle forsøg foretaget med klassen. Jeg vil også forklare den eventuelle forskel mellem kvinder og mænd ang. dette.PulsenPulsen er det antal gange hjertet slår pr. minut. Pulsen afhænger af kroppens form, jo bedre form kroppen er i, jo stærkere bliver hjertet, hvilket bevirker at slagvolumen* stiger og pulsen falder. En veltrænet person kan klare sig med en hvilepuls* på 42, mens en utrænet person i gennemsnit har en puls på ca. 60. Pulsen stiger og falder alt afhængig af hvor aktiv man er. Hvis man for eksempel er ude at spille fodbold, så stiger ens puls, fordi kroppen skal have mere ilt og ilten bliver ført ud i kroppen gennem blodet, så derfor bliver hjertet nødt til at slå hurtigere. Det betyder også at der bliver pumpet mere blod ud i musklerne end til, for eksempel, fordøjelsessystemet. Der bliver dog altid pumpet lige meget op til hjernen.Pulsen liggende er lavere end pulsen stående fordi det kræver et større tryk at pumpe blodet op til fx hjernen, når man står op. Hvis pulsen ikke steg når man stod oprejst ville alt blodet blive pumpet ned i benene og blive der, hvorved man ville besvime.Mænds puls er generelt lavere end kvinders, da mænd har et større hjerte end kvinder.BlodtrykBlodtrykket er det tryk der er på blodet, når det bliver pumpet rundt i kroppen, det er et hurtigt udtryk for hjertets og kredsløbets tilstand. Det angives med to værdier: det systoliske blodtryk og det diastoliske blodtryk.
