It has business operations in over 170 countries making it one of the largest telecommunications company in the world. It has over 18 million customers and has generated revenue of 18 billion pounds. BT has a listing on London stock exchange and New York stock exchange. Its market capitalisation is of 29 billion pounds. . BT group offers fixed line, broadband, mobile, TV subscription services as well as networked IT services. Its BT retail division serves customers and businesses. Its BT global division manages IT services. Its BT wholesale provides services and solutions to other communication companies. Its open reach division is responsible for the last mile of the UK access network and for the roll out of fibre broadband.

Bharti Airtel is an Indian telecommunication company headquartered in New Delhi, India. It operates in over 20 countries including India. Its main products are fixed line, mobile telephony, broadband and fixed line internet service, 2G, 3G and 4G service and DTH services.

BT retail- It has four customers facing divisions: BT business, BT consumer, BT Ireland and BT enterprises. BT consumer is currently a leader in consumer voice and broadband provider in UK and is growing in its pay TV service. BT business provides broadband, fixed line, data and voice network and other IT services to various enterprises in the UK. BT Ireland- In Northern Ireland, BT group is the largest communication services provider for consumers, enterprises and the public sector. In Republic of Ireland, BT group is the largest provider of wholesale network services to corporate and public sector customers.
