Ever since the first major car production, we have always wanted better. The research shows that many people are leaning away from direct speed and more towards hybrids, electric, and diesel for the fuel costs and MPG. For the people who stick with gasoline , they tend to add modifications for MPG and horsepower. Those that drive diesel can also add some of the same type of mods. The other mods many people may hear of, are probably for body. Those technically can be used for performance but engine mods are more helpful to that matter.

The thing is, you sometimes will need an intercooler which cools down the turbocharger so the fans do not overheat. If the fans overheat they can start to damage the engine and make it so that they are useless and do harm instead of helping.
The aftermarket is the market in which people buy modifications for your car. The supercharger and the turbocharger are both aftermarket products. The aftermarket is probably the most famous market for all car lovers, people can buy just about any car parts they need or want. There are many ways to have cars modified. It will all come from the aftermarket no matter what people may do, if it is a turbocharger or a body-kit, than it is from the aftermarket.
All cars are unique in their own way, diesel for pulling, gasoline for speed, hybrids for fuel economy ,and electric for environmental factors. The main question is, “can we make hybrids faster?”. The answer is yes. Many companies like porsche are starting to create sport/super cars that are hybrids. The Porsche 918 Spyder is a hybrid with two hybrid batteries/engines and one large combustion engine. But still gasoline is faster with incredible advantages like the amount of fuel available. The engines create more horsepower which creates more fuel usage, which in turn makes fuel consumption futile in a way that makes it least productive out of all three fuels. Then there is diesel.
