The Obama care act is a government act which is developed into law as part of the healthcare reform program of the Obama administration. This law has numerous requirements that would take effect in 2014, for example, the increase of Medicaid eligibility, and forbidding health insurers from rejecting coverage due to pre-existing illness. Both healthcare reform videos in 2010 and 2013 have quite a few of the same basic changes for instance, Medicaid is increasing to cover more people particularly adults who are in the lower class and are not eligible today. If one income is low, Medicaid will be able to cover one's healthcare cost, most likely in a private insurance plan, however, for this plan to work governors and legislatures of each state has to agree on whether or not to they want to be part of expand Medicaid. The video that was posted in 2010 claim that small businesses may be charged extra if some of the workers are ill, and people with pre-existing health condition will be turned down. However, the video that was updated in 2013 claim that employees that are working for larger companies and are not covered, the government will require those companies with fifty or more employees to cover those individuals who are full-time or pay the penalty. Smaller business will not face the same penalty even if they cannot afford to buy insurance or refuse to buy insurance, instead the government will support them and arrange a marketplace to make it easier for small business employers to take the plunge. Quite a few will be offered temporary tax breaks if they do take the plunge and insurance cannot blow-up prices if some employees are ill.
