Academic learning is the basis which we take into our future which determines our occupation and financial pay. Feeling pressured students feel inclined to perform excellently in school. Now that students work less and less, they use the method of cheating to obtain a grade which they do not deserve. This process will only harm the student’s future, and not acquire the result the teachers imagine. Through the events of cheating a student’s education will suffer and have numerous negative consequences which are caused by various situations.

Students in our generation admit to the act of cheating and are oblivious to the consequences. But they soon will realize that they have learned nothing from their peers. Presented in the article, “Students generally understand what constitutes cheating, but they do it anyway,” (ANI 1). Students are given an assignment asking them to describe what is cheating and while doing that assignment 89% feel that looking at someone’s paper was cheating, then when the results were given back to the instructor it had shown 100 percent of students admitted to have at least done it once. Most people have cheated at least once in their lives, whether it was for missed or incomplete work, or even just for credit that you didn’t deserve. But this is not right; in fact, it is unethical and unfair. Taking the work of others and using it as your own is not the right thing to do. These future scholars do not realize that the first consequences aren’t that rash, a deduction of points, but later you will realize that it will affect one through college and even during your occupation. Shown through the graph 90 percent of students use the internet to plagiarize from written sources (ABG 1). Through this evidence 9 out of 10 students would go online to copy work that isn’t theirs. When students go online to retrieve answers, they are aware that it is not their work but do not realize later in their education they will not understand work that is presented in front of them.
