Given the laws of nature, imagine a world where your life is in your full control. The actions and judgments you make is not pre-determined at the moment you are born. That you have independent free will and you can choose to do or make decisions as you please. Moreover, explained with the word determinism. In physics it states that exact total state of the world plus the laws of nature fully (entails, necessitates) the exact total subsequent state of the world. When applied to the philosophical doctrine aspect, it means that every moment of action or event, including every human event, and decision is inevitable. These precursors are already set in what we call reality.
I don’t believe that an action that flows from my personal identity to be compatible with this concept of determinism. The idea that of our lives are restricted, additionally lacking freedom and independence is not plausible. If the world we live in is governed by laws which predetermines our lives from the first moment of our existence in the world to our death, than that means our lives are already been prepared to follow a certain way and a behavioral conduct. With respect to the laws of physics which covers every kind of particles, even to the bases and motion.
Although, given the argument claiming where humans do not have free will, it would not be compatible with random actions presented in an event. For example, if you got abducted and were forced to push a button injecting lethal toxins into a person which kills them, otherwise, the kidnapper is going to kill a family member. Then the kidnapper hypnotized you to shoot two more people. Not long after the murders the kidnapper tosses you into the river to let you drown to death, but somehow you miraculously survive the ordeal. Next you find you way back to civilization and stumble into a random town. Upon entering this town you come across a couple officers at a gas station. They then realize you are a wanted for the series of murders, thus the two officers arrest you and take you to jail.
When facing trial you are charged guilty with the crimes you committed and the families of those victims murdered are shouting obscene and offensive statements. It is reasonable for you to be charged guilty and the families hold you responsible for what had happened? Given the circumstances, of course not, because you did not act on your own accord as some would argue.
With this situation it would not be consistent with the concept of determinism in the philosophical spectrum. In addition, determinism would mean relinquishing our sovereignty as humans as well .Consequently there is no point in planning for the future, because why make plans if it already has a predetermined path that cannot be changed. Furthermore, as mentioned in the previous examples of the murder case; given determinism it would mean you could not have helped what you had done in your previous predicament of being kidnapped. That you are giving up your morality...
