Coke And Pepsi's Marketing Strategies Essay

Marketing strategies are used in multiple forms and for one reason only, that is to persuade customer “we have the best product(s)”. Marketing use advertisements to target a wide variety of customers by advertising their products in universities, hospitals, movie theater, high school, Business offices, and Restaurant (Mc. Donald’s, Taco Bell, Kentucky fried chicken, etc.). These strategies range from different advertisements; commercials (using famous holidays and celebrities as a prop), billboards, magazines (showing the celebrities drinking their product), and movies (they pay a lot of money to producers to present their products in movies). Targeting a wide range of customers, trying to gain customers loyalty. Brand loyalty is measured helps wishing to gain ___ with the customers. Company loyalty is measured in brand loyalty.
Coke and Pepsi use these strategies to promote their products. In results, causing customers to be brand loyal. If you think about it, Coke and Pepsi campaign their product like president election who will become the president and vice president. Have you ever wonder why certain products advertise in ………Pepsi products are advertised in a lot in certain places like medical centers. Have you ever noticed vending machines at the hospital (in the emergency area) always have Pepsi and never a Coke. Then nine out ten you end up buying the Pepsi because you had no other choice. Consideration another situation, you are at school studying, preparing for an exam, when hunger kicks in (you want chips and a coke to drink). So you make your way to the vending machine, and there aren’t any cokes. Companies like Pepsi and Coke get together with hospitals, University etc. to sell their products.

These companies pay top dollar for their loyal customers to sales their soft drinks. Furthermore, they have other companies like (Mountain Dew, Sprite, Dr. Pepper and Snapple) to satisfy the customer taste, they wish to persuade customers they have the majority of the best tasting soft drinks in the world.
