The world we live in today is driven by technology. From the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed, we rely on technology. It has evolved from a bystander role, to being an integral part of our lives. One way technology has changed our lives is through communication. (Lawlor) Instead of face to face connections and how things were since the beginning of human existence, everything has shifted towards online interactions and web based communication. During the past 3 decades, the methods in which people connected were restricted to face to face interactions, letters, telephones; more personal ways of communication. It doesn’t come as a surprise that as new technologies arise; new ways to connect also arise. The most popular advancement that has arisen is the internet and web based technology.
