Pakistan emerged as a separate homeland for Muslims after years of suffering and hard work and the sacrifices of Muslims to strive for a symbol which could unite the force of Islam and the brotherhood of Muslims. In the contemporary world, the state once formed to be a symbolic key for all the Muslims in the world is crippling due to ethnic conflicts, terrorism, religious extremism and conflicts between the Army and the government itself. The Author of this article is Dr.Pervez HoodBhoy who is a nuclear physicist, a social activist and a political defense analyst. This article was published at a time when outlaws and terrorism, Bomb Blasts and the Pakistan Army was fighting against Taliban in the northern areas of Pakistan and HoodBhoy as a defense analyst wrote this article to predict the upcoming five years in such a state.
