Computers, laptops, tablet, and smart phones have become a big necessity in the daily lives of many Americans today. They each give us mobility to communicate with the rest of the world and get any type of news at the touch of a finger tip. They can be used for many things like sending emails, watching videos, having web conference calls as well as many other things. What kind of things does a person look for when they are deciding to buy a computer or other electronic device? Does it matter the color, size, or memory space available? No. I believe people look at computers and base them on stability, accuracy, and speed. Choosing between a tablet, laptop, or desk top computer I would be more than comfortable to say I would choose a Laptop. I believe that technology and computers are so important to us because, it gives us mobility to communicate with the rest of the world and get any type of news at the touch of a finger tip. In my paper I will compare and contrast some of today’s top manufacturers and decide which brand I think best suits me. What made making my decision so easy when it came to choosing between all the different devices was because, not only are laptops portable they are also in some cases very light in weight, stylish, and you can upload virus protectors on all for better protection. Although tablets and notebooks are light as well, they are also fragile and a lot easier to break or damage as opposed to that of a laptop. There are many brands of laptops that vary from: Dell, Sony, HP, MAC, Acer and etc. If I had to choose which I preferred specifically it would be a MacBook Pro; which is a laptop from the makers of apple. The reason being for me choosing this specific computer over other types of web searching devices is based mainly on its design, features, technology, and performance. The Apple MacBook Pro is an amazing computer to me because of all its unique features. The MacBook Pro has its high retina display, architecture, advance operating system, as well as the fact that it is thin, light, and powerful. The retina display on this particular computer is explained by apple as “The highest resolution notebook ever” it has a retina display of nearly two millions more pixels than a HDTV. When it comes to the performance of this particular computer has the latest-generation dual-core Intel Core. You are also able to use any apps that may be on your cellular device with this laptop. This allows the computer to handle multiple tasks at one time.
