1076 words - 4 pages

Kava is a significant island country in the South Pacific. The island has been plagued by a number of disasters and faces a number of dangers both manmade and natural. During the past few months, the country has been hit with a number of these disasters and is currently in a state of disorganization and disarray. Arriving visitors and tourists are certainly not met with the picture of blue waters, white beaches and alcoholic beverages served on sunny beaches by scantily clad wait-persons. Instead, the entire island is surrounded by evidence of the recent disasters. In this paper, Nicole will propose a strategic plan that will address Kava's current situation and make recommendations for ways in which Nicole's company will assist the government of Kava in establishing some level of post-disaster normalcy.ABC Worldwide is centered on one basic value: ABC Worldwide does what is right, because it is the right thing to do. ABC Worldwide core value is reflected in the organization's commitment to ethical business behaviors. ABC Worldwide approaches every decision from the highest level of ethics and will always do what is right, for no other reason than that it is the right thing to do. ABC Worldwide understands that disasters happen everywhere and ABC Worldwide can respond to a disaster in a number of ways. ABC Worldwide can avoid discussing the disaster, can deny a disaster has happened, or can ignore the disaster. However, the best plan of action is to turn disaster into opportunity and ABC Worldwide will do that with Kava.ABC Worldwide founder, Chris Morales has a deep-seated commitment to doing what is right, simply because it is the right thing to do. ABC Worldwide is not perfect; nor do they profess to be. ABC Worldwide is not driven by economics, by politics or the need for recognition, but ABC Worldwide keeps trying to improve on who they are, what they do, and how they do it. ABC Worldwide knows that they must give back to Kava, to keep receiving from Kava. ABC Worldwide's goal is to bring a stable business culture to Kava and to assist the government of Kava as they recover from this series of disasters and plan.ABC Worldwide has consistently demonstrated that they can develop and manage a very effective and highly efficient organizational structure and process, from marketing, finance, purchasing, technology, human resources, physical resources, transportation, and strategic resources, on through our corporate leadership. Economics drives everything and one must realize that goods and services from Kava have a significant impact not only on one's company, also on individuals here in Kava, and all over the world. Kava is vitally important to world commerce and is not just attractive beaches.Kava's demographics are quite unusual. The people are a very mixed racial group, comprised of a combination of South Pacific tribes, oriental races, Africans, French, Spanish, and Americans. The people on Kava speak numerous indigenous languages as well...
