1. What do I find satisfying/meaningful/enjoyable?
The most meaningful aspect of my life is my family. My mother, father, and two sisters are my rocks, my biggest supporters, and my role models. Spending time with them are my best memories and I have no idea where I would be with out them. Also my friendships are very meaning for me as well. Being four hours away from home I consider most of my friends family. So over all the relationships I make with people are very meaningful to me.
Hanging out with family and friends are both satisfying and enjoyable to me. It can be something as simple of sitting around watching a movie or going out and doing something are all very special to me. I ...view middle of the document...
3. What are my spiritual beliefs?
I consider myself a Christian. I grew up going to the Methodist church in my hometown, where I was baptized and confirmed. I went to Sunday school, choir, vacation bible school, and youth group. It was during youth group that I found out how much I enjoyed doing volunteer work. Now that I am in college I do not attend church regularly only when I go home, however when I graduate and settled down somewhere I do plan to find a church to attend. I also do not pray or read the bible often but I believe that God has a plan for me and knows my moves before I do. I believe that everything happens for a reason and there are reasons to why things happen. We are given choices between right and wrong because God does not force us to love him otherwise it would not be true love. I believe that there is life after this one and God forgives us of our sins if we ask for his forgiveness.
Even though I have strong spiritual beliefs I do not push them onto other people. As I said before God gives us choices and allows us to choose our fates because if he forced us to love him or make those choices it would not be real. I would gladly talk to anyone if they asked me about my faith but it is not something I would force on anyone.
4. What are my employment goals?
I am not sure my exact employment goals at this point in my life. Right now I believe that I want to work with families possibly directly with parents. I find child development very interesting. So whether my job is working with parents to help them keep their children, working in a hospital like a Ronald McDonald house, or something else I just hope to help families. As I said family is very important to me and I have been very blessed and want to help other families have the same opportunity.
5. What are my sexual mores?
I feel like divorce and cheating is something common in today’s society. However I do not condone either one of those, I do not support any rape, incest, or sexual abuse. There are no excuses for any of those things. However when it comes to abortion I believe it is the women’s choice, we have no idea what she is going through, of course all options should be made available for her but in the end it is her choice. As for sex before marriage, in today’s society, it is very likely that it will happen. Again all options need to be presented for teenagers and adults so they know all that could possibly happen. Finally as for gays, lesbian, or transgenders I am for them getting married. They are human beings just like everyone else and they deserve the same rights as everyone else.
6. Do I desire to have a committed relationship?
As I mentioned before I value all relationships I make and am in. At some point in my life I hope to be in a committed relationship. The man I would see myself ending up with would hopefully have many of the same moral as I did. To be a hard worker, puts others before of himself, and his close with his family. Most...
