We have a great responsibility in our hands that with proper training and system we can help and improve the development of any child at any age it is important to recognize and know what they should be doing at each stage of development in order to act properly.The changes in the age range of 0 to 2 years are quite remarkable. At the beginning of the child's development they start exploring their envioronment because everything is new and they need to look into their surroundings to discover through their own experiences.When children begin to become familiar with their surroundings verbal and nonverbal communication instinctively arises to make their needs and tastes known.At this early stage their primitive reflexes are the startle reflexes, rooting, grasping and sucking. By the age of one dramatic change have occurred for example, mastered sitting, standing, crawling, walking and climbing. These physical developments will allow them to experience the new world in which they have arrived. At the end of this period they will be able to negotiate stairs, balance on one foot, walk backwards and sideways, walk and balance on tiptoes, jump and climb.At the same time as their physical development, changes are also happening intellectually, emotionally, socially and in their language. "Our mental prowess develops gradually over childhood, changing in quality as it does." (Bjorklund 2011, p.3)It all starts with observation. Then it goes through the recognition and exploration phases. Later, children begin to experiment with imitation and enjoy making sounds they create. At the end of 24 months vocabulary significantly develops by approximately 50 words, understanding words and following simple instructions. Their sense of identity develops, they feel increasingly confident being part of a conversation and they feel confident to ask a lot of questions.In the second age group 3 to 5 years, children go through many changes.
