and people in a world system connected economically, politically, and by
modern media and transportation," (Kottak & Kozaitis, 2003, p. 36).

As innovation in technology increase, so does globalization. I work for a Japanese company and we communicate through video conferencing. We can send files back and forth through the use of the Internet. I does not matter where any of our offices are located.
