There are numerous reasons for divorce, from not knowing each other well enough before marriage, lack of money, long distance relationships, frequent disagreements to partners having mental issues and carry out unreasonable behaviours (i.e. domestic violence). Spouses who have to suffer from these factors can hardly be able to enjoy their lives. Since the legalization of divorce in the US in 1857- the first country to legalize divorce- the rates have increased rapidly until recent years.
I think divorce is fine, nothing is too wrong about it. Unless you marry someone for money then insist on breaking up with him/her.
Divorce usually would affect people who are involved more than the society. Nevertheless, in the modern society, along with the development of mass media, people could now perceive news concerning recent divorce cases.
