If you sell Class A drugs you could receive life imprisonment. In America if you are found with a Schedule II drug, you will be arrested and charged with possession. Of the 1,000,000 plus arrests for drug law violations in 2012, 82.2% were for possession of a controlled substance. Only 17.8% were for the sale or manufacturing of a drug.
Another one of the song’s most powerful lines is “And in a pipe she flies to motherland, and sells love to any man.” The line suggest that the girl is participating in prostitution to make money. Most prostitutes become drug or alcohol addicted on the streets and become more trapped in prostitution to earn money to support their habits. The average age of someone entering into prostitution is 14 years. Studies show that 7 out of 10 people who participate in prostitution are addicted to drugs.
Prostitution has become rampant in our country today among growing teens and youths. Most people see that selling their bodies is the fastest way of getting income. The average age of entry into prostitution for a child victim in the United States is 13-14 years old. More than 300,000 children are at risk of being prostituted in the United States There are approximately 1 million prostituted women in North America, or 1% of women in North America are involved in prostitution.
Punishment for prostitution varies from country to country. In America the punishment for knowingly transporting or attempting any person with intent to engage such person in prostitution is fine or imprisonment for no more than 10 years or both. More than 8,000 Americans are arrested for soliciting sex each year. Average prostitution arrests include 70% females, 30% males, while 85-90% of those arrested work on the street. Cities spend an average of 7.5 million dollars on prostitution control every year, ranging from 1 million dollars to 23 million dollars.
