Air pollution is among the critical challenges facing modern societies and is one of the most pressing environing mental problems. Air pollution is accountable for major harmful effects on human strength, animal survives, natural ecosystems and the man-made environment. It is also responsible for climate change due to the improved greenhouse effect, acid rain, and the reduction of the ozone layer that inaugurate important global environmental problems. Air pollution occurs both outdoors and indoors and is caused by human activities and natural mechanisms. The main anthropogenic bases of pollutants unconfined in the atmosphere are human actions such as transport (motor vehicles, aircrafts), scorching coal or other fossil fuels for energy stresses, manufacturing practices, or use of chemicals in agriculture, and services like power plants, furnaces, landfills for waste statement. Indoor air pollution:
Indoor air pollution mentions to the amount of chemical, biological and physical pollutants in the air confidential a building. Indoor air pollution can often be inferior to outdoor air pollution. The main indoor pollutants that can almost be drawn in any home are between others formaldehyde, asbestos, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, benzene, polyaromatic combinations, particulate substance, toxic metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, and chromium), and unstable organic compounds. Indoors air temperature and humidity, biological pollutants (bacteria, mold, pollen, and viruses) as well as congestion are also significant issues responsible the quality of indoors air. In specific, high air temperature and humidity can move the rate of indoors pollutant productions. Additionally, these factors joint with poor building ventilation can further damage air quality since indoors pollutants cannot be removed. (Anastasia Dimitriou and Vasilia Christidou, 2011)

Primary and Secondary Pollutants:
Pollutants can be categorized as primary or secondary. Primary pollutants are materials that are straight produced into the atmosphere from causes. The highest primary pollutants known to source damage in high adequate focuses are the following:
• Carbon compounds, such as CO, CO2, CH4, and VOCs
• Nitrogen compounds, such as NO, N2O, and NH3
• Sulfur compounds, such as H2S and SO2
• Halogen compounds, such as chlorides, fluorides, and bromides
