Epidemics and pandemics have been around for centuries and have killed several thousand people. 50,097 people died in 2011 from two harmful epidemics called pneumonia and influenza. Epidemics and pandemics are extremely dangerous and should be taking seriously. But, there are also things that could be done that are and should be being done.
A Pandemic is a disease spreads around the world. An epidemic is when a pandemic spreads rapidly. The epidemic and pandemic is a world issue that kills millions of people a year. One of the diseases that is the hardest to cure is AIDS. AIDS is all around the world and it has lasted thirty four years. AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease that has affected millions of people and scientist are still working to find the cure.
Overpopulation is affecting pandemics and epidemics by the diseases spreading to more people and killing more people. Then more people go through the lose of a relative or friend. ...view middle of the document...
That proves how long term effects can stay around.
The WHO or The World Health Organization has done several things to help fight the spreading of epidemics and pandemics. For example the WHO created a system to decrease the spreading of epidemics. The WHO has also offered guidance tools to countries with huge problems with pandemics and epidemics. There are also one hundred and fifty national influenza centre in eighty four different countries around the world dealing with a disease called Influenza that is a infection in the nose throat and lungs that can spread. The WHO has done many great things to make life on the earth better and will hopefully one day find a cure for many diseases.
There are many possible solutions for the outbreaks of epidemics and pandemics. One of the possibilties is that we can send doctors and scientists to look for the causes and cures of for terrible and painful pandemics in trees and plants. But, there may be pandemics that do not have any cure or we cant find what causes it. For those we may have to do other procedures. For short term pandemics doctors could quartine the patents so that the pandemics will not spread to rapidly. However there are long term diseases that last a lifetime such as AIDS. For those diseases we believe that doctors should give the patents responsibilities so that the disease won't spread and kill more people.
These possible solutions may affect the United States in both positive and negative ways. One negative effect would be if we gave people with long term diseases responsibilities we don't know if they would keep them. We would have to figure out some way to help them keep up their responsibility. Another negative thing is that if we have doctors and scientists look for cures and causes we may have to send them to other countries and when you send someone into foreign forests it may turn out bad. Another negative thing would be would be that we may have to quarantine people. One positive thing about all of it is that if we do all this it will limit the spread of the diseases and limit the people killed.
