Men think that they have the dominating factor but I do not think that this is true. In reality women do because men wouldn't be here without us woman. It is not equal that men make more money for doing the same job. It doesn't matter if we are woman or not. It doesn't mean that we need to be paid differently, because we are all equal. We should all be treated as equal. Men do not work any harder than woman do. Men are no better than woman. It doesn't mean that men should receive a higher pay because they are thought to be more dominate. , and Men and woman are equal. It doesn't matter who is the dominated sex or not. We should all be treated equally.

Men have always had priority on the labor market and women running the household. This was back in the old days where most women stayed home and took care of the children while men were the money makers of the family. However, this standard has now changed these days. I know that I have never been able to rely on a man to take care of the things that need to be taken care of. I’ve always been the head of household and maintained the financial stability that we needed to survive.
As cited in Webb 1891, if men had from any cause to be employed in the work which women now do, they would undoubtedly get higher wages, though they might not do more or better work; the standard of their wages is higher. I can agree and disagree with this because I don’t feel that this is fully true. I still think no matter what position it is unless it’s a house wife men get more opportunities and make more money.
As stated in the Organizational Barriers to Gender Equality: Sex Segregation of Jobs and Opportunities (p.234) “from the standpoint of the sociology of knowledge, it is interesting how concepts and methods originally developed in studying men’s careers were superimposed piecemeal on women’s attainment (Acker, 1973, 1980).” What this means to me is that men’s careers were added features and elements little by little because of the accomplishments of woman. What I do not understand is why women are still treated unequally when it’s been shown that the work men do has been greatly influenced by women.
