In fact, estimation from 2005 indicated that over $269 billion in Internet sales occurred (Jupiter, Research, 2005).Long before the Internet existed, the world had businesses selling to other businesses and consumers, but it was the Internet that truly put B2B and B2C on the map. B2B refers to Business to Business and B2C is Business to Consumers (E-Commerce, 2006). The World Wide Web has popularized these two terms with no built in boundaries for commerce and e-business sales. In the world of the Internet, e-business and e-commerce allow companies to remain in contact with one another, allow consumers to remain in contact with large companies, and connect large organizations with other enormous corporations (Business Ethnics, 2007). From small businesses to well-known fortune 500 companies, they truly are the online B2B tools consumers are all familiar with.One important detail to remember is, not only will consumers of a product or service be viewing businesses web sites but also the competition (Business Ethics, 2007).
