The rules and policies in the student code pertain to all the students. Should a student in the Carlson school violate an academic misconduct policy, the student will be subject to the punishment of the Carlson school student. In addition, the student will also be addressed by the University of Minnesota student code imparted to all of its students.The central issues and concerns addressed in the student code mainly deals are the violations of the academic misconduct rules. The definitions of academic misconduct include the following: submission of false records of academic achievement, cheating on assignments or examinations, plagiarizing, altering, forging, or misusing a university academic record, acting alone or in cooperation with another to falsify records to obtain falsified grades, honor, awards, or professional endorsement, utilizing work from previous versions of the same class or related work from another class and activities, collaborating with other students when assignments or tests are designated as individual work. These were the main issues and concerns that were addressed in the student code. The violations are in opposition to the Carlson School's code of conduct to have students with immense values such as honest and integrity.The issues and concerns addressed to the stakeholders are mainly the academic misconduct rules.
