One of the world’s largest problems is animal cruelty. All over the world, animals are treated without care. When people hear about animal abuse, many think of only dogs and cats. But, that is not the case. There are horses, bulls, reptiles, and many other species of animals that are treated with violence. An animal is abused every 10 seconds. After puppies get out of puppy mills, they go to pet stores. Pet stores are not much of an advance from puppy mills. In pet stores, animals of many sizes are trapped in a tiny cage with minimal food and water. They get no attention what so ever, and they are most likely sitting within reach of feces that should have been cleaned. All of these animals deserve a chance to have a better life.
Teacup puppies are another example of animal abuse. They are extremely underdeveloped. They are taken away from their mothers at too young of an age. Many people find them so adorable, but they do not realize what these poor animals are put through. They are extremely delicate because of such underdevelopment, that if they fall from somewhere, there is a 90% chance of them breaking a bone. A dog needs to have stability and have plenty of time for it to grow and develop in its own time. There are many petitions against the puppy mills that support teacup puppies, but not enough is done to make a change.
There are many people that do their best to prevent animal cruelty. There are petitions on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media websites that have over a million supporters. There are photos and videos up that prove that animal cruelty can be stopped. Programs like the ASPCA,...
