Hinduism and Islam are monotheistic religions but Islam is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion that originated in the Middle East in the 7th century CE with Prophet Muhammad, Hinduism on the other hand is a polytheistic religious tradition that originated in the Indian subcontinent in the pre-classical era (1500–500 BCE) and does not possess a specific founder. Hinduism and Islam are the third and second most popular religions in the world respectively; they both have similar and different feelings such as beliefs God, belief in the life cycle and in the Day of Judgment.
In the belief in God, Muslim practice oneness in Allah and the last prophet Muhammad, Muslims believe that God is the all-powerful Creator of a perfect, ordered universe. He is transcendent and not a part of his creation, and is most often referred to in terms and with names that emphasize his majesty and transcendence. On the other hand Hindus believes in one god but a practice polytheistic tradition that explains the different aspect of God which is about 330,000 gods and goddesses. They venerate through the trinity gods which are Brahman, Shiva and Vishnu.
In life cycle Muslim are Birth, Marriage and Death When a Child is born the father whisper the Adhanm (call to prayer) into the baby’s ear. Seven days after birth the Iman Cut and weigh the baby’s hair and donates equal amount in silver. Also Aqiqah name giving seven days after the birth secondly Marriage Polygamy Marriage but most Muslims do not follow or Arranged marriage deep bond between families. Read Qur’an and exchange vows.
