(Gad, 2013).It focuses on the security of investment; give up higher amount of return over the long-term for the comfort of low volatility. It is suitable for investors who want low risk, especially old people.Retirement need: "Investing for retirement is similar to long-term investing. The retirement portfolio will actually be a mix of stocks, debt securities, index funds and other money market instruments. This mix will change as you do, moving increasingly toward low-risk guaranteed investments as the age" (Beattie, 2013).It focused on generating wealth over the medium to long term while maintaining some fluctuations of return in the short-term.Balanced need: Focused on producing returns which are well ahead of inflation over the long-term.
