Carbohydrates are a source of energy for the body in carrying out any activity, but often in your diet program eliminates implement this menu in your shopping list. In fact you need to know that weight gain is not entirely due to a high carbohydrate intake. Instead we need to eat foods that contain healthy carbohydrates as an energy source. Therefore, if you remove the source of carbohydrate diet of your diet is a bad idea.
Before discussing more about food sources of carbohydrates, you should know what the name carbohydrate. Carbohydrates are compounds composed of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. There are two kinds of carbohydrates are simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates.
Food sources of carbohydrates from complex carbohydrates and simple carbohydrates are different . For a simple carbohydrate usually derived from sugar ( glucose ) fruit sugar ( fructose ) and milk sugar ( lactose ). While the carbohydrate source for this type of complex carbohydrates is as I mentioned below. Complex carbohydrates are rich in fiber and less sugar than simple carbohydrates. Instead of eliminating the source of carbohydrates in the daily diet, just eat foods with complex carbohydrates will make you full longer. You also will have the energy reserves in the longer term because of complex carbohydrates digested and absorbed slowly so that blood sugar levels are not increased or decreased drastically, and make cholesterol levels is maintained. Keep in mind also that this type of carbohydrate also provide a stimulus of serotonin in the body, which is a compound that controls emotions and appetite.
