France Day one: Board an overnight airplane to Nice, France.Day two: Welcome to the Cote d' Azure, named after the beautiful blue coast near it. After the arrival, we will be transferred to the tiny Principality of Monaco, the place of the rich and famous. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Then you will be transferred to the Hotel De Paris Monte Carlo Casino.Day three: We travel along the coast to Nice for sightseeing including the Norte Dame Cathedral and Matisse Museum. After lunch, visit the famous Foundation Maeght and then return to Monte Carlo.Day four: Visit the intense yellow of sunflower fields. The first stop is in Aix-en-Provence made famous the home of Paul Cézanne. Continue to the walled town of Avignon.Day five: Our day begins with a guided walking tour to visit the Palais de Papes.Then later that afternoon, we continue to Arles, the remains of the historic and artistic Roman influence. Visit the 2nd century Roman amphitheater, one of the most preserved Roman monuments in Provence and in the summer it is still used for bullfighting.Day six: Today we are going to the heart of southwestern France, the land of Cathars, with a lot of history of the Languedoc region. The time of lunch is before we continue to the stylish russet hued village of Albi.Day seven: This mornings walking tours includes the fortress of St. Cecile, which towers over the riverbend overlooking the formal gardens of the Palais de la Berbie.
