Genetically modified organisms are plants or animal which are scientifically engineered with various DNA of micro-organisms. They are scientifically engineered organisms experimented in laboratories to increase certain traits: insects, bacteria, and, viruses. Every time we go to supermarkets, we don’t know whether the edible items are produced naturally or genetically modified. Whether they are fruits, vegetables, or the meat, all of them are genetically modified. Ignorance of consumers has made the scenario worse. Despite of this ignorance, the media kept people well informed on impact of genetically modified food.
