Wait, Wait, Wait! We are not there
yet! We have to start from the

WISE MAN 1:
Good evening everyone and welcome
to the stairway to heaven! Every
Christmas we focus on the birth of
who? [Audience responds] Who was
born in...? [Audience responds]
His mother’s name was...?
[Audience responds] And his
father's name was...? [Audience
responds] We all know the story!
Tonight, of course, we are here to
celebrate the one and only Jesus
Christ but we are also here to
reflect on you! Yes you! I don’t
know about you but 2017 has been
stressful, painful, eye-opening
but also another year my lord
Jesus Christ gave me to repair,
restore, and to conquer.
WISE MAN 2:
But...we seem to forget how his
birth led to ours. How his love
led to happiness, and how his
story leads to a marvelous
beginning. Tonight we are here to
take you on a journey back to the
WISE MAN 2: (CONT'D)
Back to love, back to friendship,
back to a relationship with God
because the best way to celebrate
him is to honor his word, teach
his people, and spread his love.

done for you, you can't spend a
couple of minutes cleaning up your
place of worship?
Yeah but why do I have to be here,
I don't dirty the church
So when I do your laundry, am I
the one who "dirties" your

Huh boy. I bet Jesus ain't have to
clean. And why am I the only one

my sanctuary. Plus, I ain't never

bible and even that's a stretch. I
could be at home in bed watching
TV. Instead, I'm out here doing
other people's chores.Huh boy,
