GEMS GIS reports give users a geographical representation of their data. Users are able to interact with the data, drilling down for more detail and up to see regional trends. They have three visual displays including map view, satellite view, and a hybrid of the two. These reports can be saved to the web to share with others and are a great way to bring data “to life”.
Ad Hoc Reporting
GEMS’ flexible reporting engine enables users to create their own ad-hoc reports. Unique to GEMS, users can navigate to any screen, find the data they desire, and use GEMS’ ad hoc reporting feature to export the data into any format they desire. More advanced users can even import GEMS data into external analysis programs such as SPSS, SAS, Crystal Reports and Excel (to name a few)
Milestone and Target Reports
Programs can run reports to evaluate their progress. Administrative staff can aggregate progress information across multiple programs, initiatives and goal areas.
Budget and Fiscal Analysis
From directly within the budget screens in GEMS, users can run a variety of analysis on financial data. This includes a budget breakdown on how each line item is contributing to various result areas; snapshot of budget balance of a program; and error reports and validations for budget imbalance and indirect costs.
Custom Report Builder
With Report Builder, Administrators can create new report templates using any parameters in the database. These templates can then be provided to any number of users or user roles in the system. Custom designed report templates are made available to users as part of the library of available reports.
