It was a very difficult life for people who are not white in some states.People believe that everyone should follow and fight for what they believe is best for their life .“Oh lord , if you ain’t never going to change that man`s heart ,kill him lord ,and take him out of the way “, Those were words of Harriet tubman ,who suffered throughout her life especially in her childhood ,but she was brave and strong enough to become a hero by freeing more than 300 slaves ,and becoming an abolitionist .
Firstly, I will describe Tubman’s early life.Born Araminta Ross , c, 1820 in Dorchester County Maryland,She later changed her name to Harriet on behalf of her mother .Araminta`s mother Harriet Green and her father Benjamin Ross were both slaves . Harriet Tubman had several siblings .She had to take care of her younger siblings when her mother was forced to leave her young babies because she had to work. Then ,she had to leave her whole family and work at a young age. In addition , she was whipped daily by her master also was forced to work in ice at winter time for a long time that bad getting more sick . It was really unfair treatment for all enslaved.Than , between 1834 and 1836 Tubman was almost killed when she blocked the way between an angry master and a young slave ,the master through a heavy rock at her that fractured her skull .That caused her vision problems . Also she took a long time to recover from the injury .It was beneficial for Harriet to work near her father which let her learn a secret network communication .Tubman became part of male word communication these people were a ware of safe roads and paths .Also it was hidden from white masters’ eyes .Tubman and her father communicated with black mariners and these mariners were communicating with black and white abolitionists as well .
