Be sure not to mix up baking soda and baking powder. In a different mixing bowl, my recipe says to put oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, white distilled vinegar and vanilla extract. Do not drink the vanilla extract even though it smells really good. Next, put that bowl into a mixer and start mixing on low. After a minute or two, slowly add the bowl of dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. This made a large mess in my kitchen and be sure to clean it up when you are done. Mix together the wet and riy ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed together.
After that, you will want to get a muffin pan that holds 12 to 24 muffins. I used 18, as there was not enough batter to fill all 24 spots up. Line the muffin pan with cupcake liners. Fill up each of the spots ⅔ of the way up. Make sure all of the spots evenly full. Place the muffin pans into the oven, which should be preheated to 350 degrees fahrenheit. After the 20 minutes of being oven, take the cupcakes out of the oven.
Finally, you have to make the frosting and actually frost the cupcakes. To make the cream cheese frosting used in my recipe, beat together butter, cream cheese, and vanilla extract in an electric mixer.Of course, the ingredients needed are different for every recipe. Slowly add the sugar into the electric mixer. Let the ingredients in the mixer beat together until they are light and fluffy. Next, take a butter knife and spread the frosting over the top of the cupcakes. I found it easiest to the take the cupcake out of the pan and frost it while holding the cupcake. Now you can serve the cupcakes to your friends and family so they can see how good of a cook you are.
Because they require few simple steps, are fun to make, and are delicious to eat, Cupcakes are a great choice to bake. First, you want to prepare the space. Next, you need to mix together the wet and dry ingredients. After that, you have to bake the cupcakes in the oven. Finally, you have to make the frosting and put it on the cupcakes. Cupcakes have been made since the 19th century. Now, go out and make some delicious cupcakes to make so you can show your friends how great of a cook you are.
