Although there are many different types of bacteria that are not only beneficial towards human life, but also vital. All bacteria, like humans and most other living organisms that exist, share the common goal, of wanting to exist, and to carry on existing, via reproduction. Whether this reproduction takes place through the form of live birth, by means of hatching from an egg, cell division, or any of the countless number of methods of continuing a species that have been created by the corresponding number organisms that have been, are still to come, and are currently in the cycle of existence, it is still part of the not entirely different goal, of continuing to ...view middle of the document...

For this to happen, the bacteria will have had to have been in contact with the drug before, and survived, and then after the contact, changed its physical attributes and anatomy to better deal with the effects of the drug designed to kill it off. Just like how we are vaccinated against diseases, via an incredibly small number of that type of bacteria being injected into our system, as our immune system will be able to kill that small amount very quickly, and effectively, and then remembering how to kill that particular type of bacteria for future use, so that if the immune system ever comes into contact with it again, it will know exactly what it must do to get rid of the bug, and cure the body of the ailment. However, a person can not be vaccinated against everything, due to time, the disease itself, cost, et cetera, et cetera. Also, it is impossible to “sterilize the world”, and get rid of all harmful bacteria on surfaces, tools, in foods, et cetera, and still keep the beneficial bacterias alive in the correct places and circumstances. This is why treatments such as antibiotics have been invented. Antibiotics are designed to be used outside of the body, to sterilize surfaces, liquids, e.c.t., but they have also been used inside the body as commercial medicines, in the form of ingestibles, and so on. What this form of ingestible antibiotics were designed to do, is get inside of the body, to the area that contains the harmful bacteria, and kill it off, without harming the person’s immune system in the process.
