Healthy food is the main function of protecting from 70% of disease in our days. The nourishing food and the enough dose of nutrition and their correctly absorption protect from disease like diabetes, heart attack, insults, high blood pressure, osteoporoses, gastric ulcer, migraine and etc.; Healthy nutrition increase the immune system and this help for cope with the different infections without remedy.The enjoyment of food is one of life's pleasures and all foods can be enjoyed as a part of nutrition diet. The particular food is neither "good" nor "bad" of itself. What matters is how well a given food complements or combines with other foods to meet a person's energy and nutrient needs. The right decision and the best advice is that people should eat different kind of foods to spread consumption over the day. The different kind of nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, fats, minerals and water are important for a balanced diet, if only one of these components is absent these may destroy our health.As catering managers we have offer to our customers, different kind of healthy food. Also we should offer both meat and vegetarian main courses in order to satisfy different clients' nutrition preferences. Our menu has to include a several groups of food.The firs one is the group of vegetables and fruits. This group is full of vitamins and minerals, without at least 400mg per day the body could not digest successfully and easily, most fruits and vegetables are usually low in calories. They supply vitarnins A and C, potassium, and fiber. They should be consumed several times per day.The next one is the group of pasta, bread, potatoes, and grains. They contain nutrients and non-nutrients and are low in fats. Also contribute proteins, minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium. They are rich in fibers, their function is essential for the digestion and disease prevention.The next one group is the group of fish and meat products. Chicken and turkey are low in saturated fat. Chicken should be served without skin. Another source of protein is the red meat, which contains iron and vital vitamins. It should be offered instead of fatty ones. Eating fish can reduce the risk of heart disease. The menu should offer various kinds of fish and sea food. Grilling is recommended cooking method for these products.Milk and dairy products are food which is the main source of calcium, which is vital for building bone and keeping it strong. We should be able to serve different kind of dairy, but offering skim or low-fat versions for healthier choices.Some foods and food groups are higher in fat than others. Fats and oils, and some types of desserts and snack foods that contain fat provide calories but few other nutrients.
