1.0 INTRODUCTIONHuman Resource Management (HRM) is the function within an organization that focuses on recruitment of, management of, and providing direction for the people who work in the organization. Human resource management can also perform line manager. A company's human resources department is responsible for creating, implementing and/or overseeing policies governing employee behavior and the behavior of the company toward its employees.Human resources are the people who work for the organization; human resource management is really employee management with an emphasis on those employees as assets of the business. In this context, employees are sometimes referred to as human capital. As with other business assets, the goal is to make effective use of employees, reducing risk and maximizing return on investmentAreas of HRM oversight include among many others employee recruitment and retention, exit interviews, motivation, assignment selection, labor law compliance, performance reviews, training, professional development, mediation, and change management.In the following pages, we will discuss on the various duties and responsibilities of the Factory Manager.2.0 CONTENTThe Factory Manager will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and effective Recruitment and Selection service to the company.In this case, the factory manager is responsible for ensuring that key objectives, relating to the Recruitment and Selection service are achieved. She will also liaise with the Service Groups, to which they are linked, to ensure that the service provided meets their needs.2.1 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESA factory manager is substantial for the productivity of a factory. It is also important for a factory manager to know his or her duties inside out. Without knowing the duties and how to do their job, a factory manager will not function properly and eventually, reaches rock-bottom. This is because in a factory, its factory manager and his duties is the most crucial part in running a factory.One of the many duties of a factory manager is to ensure all the items and materials arrived safely and in time for the dispatch date of the factory's manufacture. It is important to keep track of all supplies coming in and going out. It is also important to have good connection with the suppliers of the materials needed by the factory. This is to ensure that shipment will not be late but in fact, quicker. It is a factory manager's responsibility to be aware of all supplies in order to meet the deadline of the dispatch. If not, it will slow down productivity.Other than that, the duty of a factory manager is also to organize and prepare daily schedules for the employees and factory workers of the factory in order for them to know what their job is and when to do it.
