There are many reasons trapping and hunting is good. One reason is that it is believed that people only use the fur on the animals that they trap and kill, but studies show that almost the entire animal is used for some purpose. Most of the animals that are caught by the fur hunters are sold the fur buyers, then the fur buyer prepare the fur for resale, then they market the other parts of the animal, and send the rest of the animal to by-product facilities. So this shows that the animals are not going to be killed and just wasted. The fur hunters help out many people. They help them because people have been wearing fur clothing for thousands of year, and today fur remains highly valued for other items also. In addition to popularity for the fashion part far also has waterproof qualities and it provides great insulation in extremely cold weather.
Another reason hunting and trapping is good is because some of the hunters eat the animals that they trap and kill just like other people eat pork and beef. Whenever the meat from raccoon, beaver and opossum are prepared properly they can make a good meal for some people. Also many animals are trapped then made available to the rendering industry, where they are used to produce soap, livestock, feed, paint, tires, ice cream, textiles and construction materials which also helps many other people. Rendering is when animal fat is processed into many different products that are then used in everyday life by people from all around the world.
Another reason the hunting and trapping is good is because it will reduce the overpopulation of many species and property damage. When wild there is too many wild animals living together in one area they may begin to cause multiple problems for humans and the others of their populations. Wildlife overpopulation can sometimes lead to things such as mange, and also diseases such as rabies and distemper. As more and more animals crowd together in an area the diseases often increase.
