Incident Management Examining Performance And Enhancing Optimized Services For It Support Organization.

1327 words - 6 pages

After processing of incident, the solution will be partially refined output. So we are going to apply Formal Language and Automata modeling language, which provides the optimized output to the customer. This study purpose of Formal language and Automata theory for designing and analyzing the incident management process[4].The existing and future incident management systems are debugged by the Formal language and Automata theory. The future incidents have the wide range of possibilities for inefficiencies and problems which we can find solution. The evaluation of any incident management process depending on the various variables involved for a certain urban region is flexible which is provided by this modeling approach.

Researchers have demonstrated numerous attempts in improving the incident management process. A broad and integrated response to incidents is necessary for success of Incident management. This study of Formal language modeling provides a validation and debugging of expert system support, thus increasing the accuracy and efficiency of such systems. The proposed model representation can specify and verify properties for the system before implementation. Most importantly, the proposed model provides a model to verify the interaction between such systems and between multi agency processes.

The formal language theory purpose is to carry order to complex system misrule[4]. The rules are predefined in this theory such as formal notation in logic, mathematics and computer science. The finite automation consists of finite number of states. Only one of these states can be an “initial” state. Such automation must contain at least one or more “terminal” or “accepting” states. State “S_0” represents a pre incident situation. The state S_0 cause the system switch to state S_1 implying an incident scene.
The following is the deterministic finite automation of an incident model: {∑, S,s_0, ¥ ,F},where the following hold:

∑: incident;
S: S_0,S_1,S_2;
s_0:S_0
¥
(S_0,incident)→S_1
(S_1,queue)→S_1
(S_1,assign)→S_2
(S_2,still-identified)→S_2
(S_2,solution_provided)→S_0
F: S_0

SYSTEM DESIGN
There are many ways to find solution for a particular problem. It is always necessary to find the best optimal solution. The best optimal solution depends on the type of problem. As of the project it is necessary to identify the events in data base content. For this purpose we are going to use the decision support tools.
3.1 SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Incident Management includes any event which disrupts, or which could disrupt, a service. This includes events which are communicated directly by users through the Service Desk from Event Management to Incident Management tools such as OTRS, These tools are used to provide the Optimized Service to the end user. The decision support tools are models the IT support organization as queuing network to optimize the incident. This approach is used to reduce the downtime cost and...
